When you set up a milestone task on a contract type, Assign To now has a
Contract role option. Pick any role your team uses (Listing Agent,
Transaction Coordinator, ISA, a custom role) and when the milestone fires the
task goes to the Sure Send user holding that role on that contract. No more
rebuilding the task list per contract or writing the assignee into the task
description.
If several users hold the role on a contract, each gets their own copy of the
task, the same way sub-team and collaborator assignments already work.
If nobody holds the role, or it’s held by a contact rather than a Sure Send
user, the task goes to the contract’s assigned user instead, with a Needs
attention note at the top of its description saying which role it was meant
for.
