When a call came in while the Sure Send app was in the background or closed, Android showed a call notification with only the caller’s raw number (or, for inbox calls, the inbox’s own number), and no contact name. Some phones showed it as a small bubble with nothing on it at all. The full caller details only appeared once you answered or opened the app.
The notification now shows the contact’s name, with their phone number underneath, the moment the phone starts ringing, whether the app is open, in the background, or closed. Callers who aren’t in your contacts still show their phone number, as before.
This needs the latest version of the Android app.
